My Approach

Those first steps of making contact can often be the hardest, but you have, thank you.

Next step in your counselling journey:

I offer an initial 30-minute free session where I can find out what it is you would like to get from your sessions, (not everyone knows what they want at this stage and that is okay) and whether we will be able to work together. We can mutually agree a day and time for your sessions in this call also.

Sessions I provide:


For face2face work I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space and I will be there to meet you for your session.


For telephone and zoom sessions I will be in a confidential space and I will check that you are also in a safe space which is confidential.

How I work as your therapist:


​As your therapist I have an holistic core approach that is Person-centred. This allows me to be client led, listening to what you are telling me without judgement. As a curious therapist I may ask gentle questions that will allow us to ensure that I am hearing and understanding you fully, also allowing you to explore at a deeper level what you have brought to your sessions to give you better understanding.

As individuals we are all unique and so feel, see and understand things differently. Being an integrative therapist, I can where helpful, tailor my way of working with you to best suit supporting you achieve your goal/s. I can draw on concepts from Psychodynamic, Gestalt and CBT.

It is important that you understand that I do not have the answers for you. You have the answers, they are just not clear or perhaps hidden from you at this time and that is what I will support you to find. Finding your answers will allow confidence to grow and manage daily life more effectively.
